Quick Start

Get Amigo up and running in under 5 minutes. Follow the steps below to start your first live interview session.

Already installed Amigo? Skip to Step 3 — Join Your Interview.

Step 1 — Create Your Account

  1. Visit amigohelp.ai/signup and sign up with your email.
  2. Verify your email address via the confirmation link sent to your inbox.
  3. Log in and upload your resume and job description from All My Docs (PDF, Word, or plain text — max 10 MB).

Step 2 — Download & Install

Download the Amigo desktop app for your operating system.


Step 3 — Set Up Your Profile

Before your first interview, set up your Copilot Profile:

  1. Go to Copilot Profiles and create a profile. Link your resume and job description, choose your session format (Live Interview or Coding Test), and set your response length. Turn on Use this profile to make it your active interview setup.
  2. Optionally, create a Brief with interview prep notes — you'll be able to view it inside the desktop app during your session.
No setup codes needed — Amigo Copilot signs in with your Amigo account and picks up your active profile automatically.

Step 4 — Join Your Interview

  1. Launch the Amigo desktop app and sign in with your Amigo account.
  2. Amigo will run an automatic system readiness check — verifying stealth mode, audio permissions, and network connectivity.
  3. Once everything is green, join your video call. The overlay will appear on your screen — invisible to your interviewer — and begin listening automatically.
Make sure Amigo is launched before you join the video call, not after. Launching mid-session may delay audio capture initialization.
