Installation
Amigo is a lightweight desktop application. Installation takes under 2 minutes on either Windows or macOS.

Installing on Windows
- Download the installer from your Amigo dashboard or directly from amigohelp.ai.
- Run the
helpamigo.exeinstaller. - Follow the installation wizard and click Install.
- Amigo will launch automatically after installation. Sign in with your Amigo account — the same email and password you use on the web app.
Windows SmartScreen may show a security prompt on first launch. Click More info → Run anyway to proceed. Amigo is signed and verified software.
Some antivirus programs (e.g. Windows Defender, Malwarebytes) may flag or quarantine
helpamigo.exe on first run. This is a false positive — Amigo does not collect or transmit personal data beyond what is required for AI features. If this happens, add helpamigo.exe to your antivirus exclusion list and re-run the installer.Installing on macOS
- Download the
helpamigo.dmgfile from your dashboard. - Open the DMG and drag the Amigo app into your Applications folder.
- On first launch, macOS will prompt for Microphone, Accessibility, and Screen Recording permissions — grant all three.
- Sign in with your Amigo account — the same email and password you use on the web app. Amigo will run a system readiness check before starting your session.
