How It Works
Amigo uses a multi-stage pipeline to deliver real-time assistance:
- System Check: Before every session, Amigo verifies stealth mode, always-on-top, audio permissions, and network connectivity so you never start with a misconfigured setup.
- Audio Capture: Amigo captures system audio and your candidate microphone on separate native threads — your voice is identified and filtered out so only interviewer questions trigger responses.
- Speech Recognition: Audio is sent to a low-latency cloud transcription service via the secure native backend, with progressive interim transcripts streamed back in real time. A filler-rejection layer strips out "umm", "you know", and 100+ other conversational fillers before anything reaches the AI.
- Smart Classification: An NLP engine with grammar-aware pattern matching classifies each question as coding or conversational, with a theory-frame guard and dialog-context awareness for follow-up questions.
