Managing Your Account
Amigo uses a pay-as-you-go credit system — there are no subscriptions and no recurring charges. You buy a pack of minutes when you need them, and your balance stays in your account until you use it. This page covers how to manage your purchases, payment method, and account settings.
Buying Minutes
- Log in and navigate to Buy Minutes from the sidebar.
- Choose a pack — Free (10 min), Starter (2 hrs), Essential (5 hrs), or Scale (20 hrs). See Plans & Pricing for details.
- Complete the one-time payment via Stripe — your card is stored securely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
- Your new minutes are available instantly. Start or resume a session right away.
Managing Copilot Profiles
Copilot Profiles let you customise how Amigo responds during different types of interviews. Each profile can have its own session format (Live Interview or Coding Test), response length (Concise, Balanced, or Detailed), resume, and job description.
- Go to Copilot Profiles from the sidebar.
- Click Create Profile and give it a name (e.g. "Frontend Interview", "System Design").
- Set the session format, response length, and upload your resume and job description.
- Turn on Use this profile to make it your active interview setup before signing in on the desktop app.
Updating Payment Method
- Go to Account Settings and click Manage Payment Method.
- You will be redirected to the Stripe customer portal where you can add, update, or remove a card.
- The updated card will be used for your next purchase.
Invoices & Receipts
A receipt is emailed automatically to your registered address after each successful purchase. You can also view your full purchase history from My Purchases at any time.
Deleting Your Account
To delete your account and all associated data, contact support@amigohelp.ai. Account deletion is permanent — your session history, profiles, and any remaining credits will be removed. Unused minutes can be refunded within 30 days of purchase before deletion.
